Style Stage Sell believes that all homes require bespoke solutions when it comes to preparing your home either for a change or for a sale.

Staging

If you are looking to style and stage your home we first do an analysis of what you have to work with. We don’t believe in moving all of your belongings out only to fill it with stereotypical hire furnishings. We look at what you have to work with, what you may like to revamp or update and then also what you really don’t need  anymore.

If we can work with your belongings then we will do that. We can then embellish with hired pieces or even help you to buy new items for you to then take to your new home.

So in the process of restyling we can also help you to declutter and get rid of those extra items of furniture you have been hanging on to for much too long.

Are you downsizing? Or upscaling to a larger home?

Both have different perspectives on how to approach the use of either hired or new furnishings to best help prospective buyers visualise themselves living in your property.

If you are downsizing you may have too much to fit into your future home. You may have owned the same furniture for a lifetime and could do with some fresh fittings. Do you need a new couch? a new TV a new dining setting? Rather than waste money hiring these items then we can help you to source the items you would really like to have. Remember that if you are going to move to a smaller place with less upkeep you may as well get rid of all the “stuff” now rather than waste the opportunity and then have to do it after when the property sells.

Equally if you are upscaling you might find that the new home you are moving to has more rooms than you have furniture for. If you need new items then purchasing them now and using them in your staging job can also save you wasting money on furniture hire and you can capitalize on the assistance of SS to help you find the your new look and style.

At the end of the day its important to make the home light, airy and spacious and to make the styling simple with a little personality (but nothing personal) that best reflects the style of the home. You want people to be able to inject themselves into the property, not to look at your home, with your things and  be unable to see past YOUR life.
