SSS just had the pleasure of working with the original owner and LJ Hooker DeeWhy to prepare this original gorgeous beach house in North Curl Curl for sale. The bones were fabulous but as a family home it had remained in its original styling from the 1960’s and of course it had accumulated a lifetime of objects (as well as memories).
We worked to declutter and simplify the home to shine the light on how fabulous and roomy it is. Using the owners own items we them embellished with SS own props and we helped the owner to add to his own furniture collection with some well thought out purchases.
As with all our jobs we like to spend where its needed and save where it isn’t. So a new King Furniture lounge ( in the recent 50% sales) and interior decor items from Mitchell Road antiques as well as Kmart brought the beachside gem to life.

Of its three bedrooms, two are doubles with built-in robes. There is a study area, plus separate dining room, or dine alfresco in total privacy amongst the greenery of the all-weather patio. The roomy living area is always bright, thanks to a strip of feature windows spanning the length of the house. The new kitchen and bathroom are immersed faithfully in the style of the home’s era, while providing every contemporary convenience.
